Meet Our Owner
Lori Silverberg, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist and SensAble Kids Owner
Lori founded SensAble Kids in 2007 after years of working in schools, hospitals, and Early Intervention. She has been a pediatric occupational therapist since 1999, and as a DIR-certified clinician, she views each child through a developmental lens that honors their unique neurology, relationships, and individual differences. She brings deep expertise in reflex integration (MNRI), craniosacral therapy, sensory processing, visual-motor development, and other advanced techniques—all woven into a DIR approach that follows each child’s lead and builds on their strengths. Lori integrates bodywork through MNRI, craniosacral therapy, and other hands-on techniques to support the nervous system and create a foundation for regulation and development.
With 25 years of experience and as a parent to teens with ADHD, Lori brings personal insight into the unique challenges and strengths that come with each stage of development. She understands how foundational skills evolve across childhood and into adolescence, and she prioritizes supporting regulation and executive function—the building blocks that help children and teens navigate daily life, strengthen relationships, build confidence, and develop self-advocacy skills. Lori finds deep fulfillment in mentoring other therapists, sharing the approaches and insights she’s developed over decades of practice. She still treats in the clinic and partners closely with families to turn everyday routines into rich opportunities for connection and growth.
When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find Lori with her beloved golden retriever Romeo, enjoying live music and concerts, or exploring good food with family and friends. Her goal is simple: to help your child feel safe, capable, and confident in their body, their relationships, and their world.
