Sensory Scouts
Exploring new pathways of discovery through sensorimotor play and peer engagement.
- Ages: 30 months-3 years; or 3-4 years (depending on enrollment)
- Thursdays 10:30-11:30; 6 weeks
- Goals: To improve regulation and sensory processing to promote tolerance to being around peers, engagement with peers, and shared attention during activities with peers. To improve regulation, sensory processing, and praxis to be able to participate in group activities/routine.
- 2-3 kids
- Billed through private insurance or private pay
- Lead by an Occupational Therapist and Speech Pathologist or Developmental Therapist at SensAble Kids
Thursdays 9:30-10:30; 6 weeks
Little Explorers Group
Exploring a world of opportunities through play with peers.
- Ages: 30 months-3 years
- Thursdays 9:30-10:30; 6 weeks
- Goals: To improve regulation and sensory processing to promote reciprocal interaction and shared attention during activities with peers. To improve regulation, sensory processing, and praxis to be able to participate in group activities/ follow group routine.
- 3-4 children
- Billed through private insurance or private pay
- Lead by an Occupational Therapist and Developmental Therapist at SensAble Kids
Mondays 3:30-4:30; 6 weeks-ongoing
Navigators
Navigating peer relationships through play and problem solving.
- Ages: 6-8 years old
- Mondays 3:30-4:30; 6 weeks-ongoing
- Goals: To improve regulation, sensory processing, and motor planning in order to promote peer relationships, enrich play themes, and problem solve within a peer context.
- 3-4 kids
- Billed through private insurance or private pay
- Lead by Occupational Therapist and Speech Pathologist at SensAble Kids
